Oh hey Fall…..I’ve missed you so! I get very excited when the temperature starts to drop and the leaves put on a beautiful show, football is once again the focus of the weekend and soup is back on the menu at our house!

Bloody Mary with garnishes
Summer has a way of making entertaining more relaxed and laid back. Sunday brunch is a favorite at our house. The Bloody Mary is made for day drinking and a Bloody Mar bar at home is easy and so much fun. Put together all of your favorite garnishes in mason jars and let your guest go wild.
Thanksgiving Dinner Side Dishes
The Turkey might be the star but the sides are what really makes Thanksgiving dinner special. There are a few staples that are a must at the Spalding’s spread and my Southern Dressing(no stuffing around these parts!) and Cranberry Applesauce are on the top of the list. Every time I make my mama’s dressing recipe (with a few changes here and there) it brings back memories of her in the kitchen.

If you are like me and fall is the busiest time of the year, you sometimes wait until the last minute to start deciding about your Thanksgiving gathering. Halloween is when I really let out my creative juices and go all out with decorations. I start planning our family themed costumes in July and can hardly wait for October to get here. Not only is October my birthday month but it is also Breast Cancer awareness month so I thought a glamorous party for my best girlfriends would be the perfect way to celebrate.
Easter Inspiration
Easter was always one of my favorites when my children were little. We would spend an entire day decorating eggs, making treats and getting ready for the Easter Bunny! I laugh when I remember hubby and I trying to hide eggs (outside or if the weather was being difficult, inside) without our children or the neighborhood children seeing us.

The home office is often the last room to get any attention. It becomes a store-all room where things get put when you aren’t sure what else to do with it. My client had just that problem. We had redone her living room, dining room and touched up the kitchen and now she wanted to attack the office.

Movie Night Popcorn
Movie night is a favorite family activity at our house and of course popcorn is a must. I love to try out new recipes and the kids really enjoy being the taste testers. Talk Derby To me
