Movie Night Popcorn
Movie night is a favorite family activity at our house and of course popcorn is a must. I love to try out new recipes and the kids really enjoy being the taste testers. At least one time during the summer I let the kids invite friends over and I treat them to a FUN night of snacks and of course a really good movie.
The popcorn machine is always a huge hit and I like to give everyone lots of snack options. Theater size candy and fun popcorn containers makes it more festive and adult and kids alike have fun filling up their snack boxes with all of their favorites.
Confetti Popcorn is addicting and just a little bit fancy, don’t ya think?

Cajun Popcorn is one of my favorites. I love to eat salty then sweet and repeat!

- ¼ cup butter
- 2 T of Cajun seasoning
- Salt to taste
Melt butter in microwave and add Cajun seasoning. Pour over popped corn stirring until evenly covered. Salt to taste.
My Salted Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn was a huge hit and is now a family favorite.
- 24 cups of plain popcorn
- 4 T butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 T light corn syrup
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and stir until melted and smooth. Add marshmallows and let melt. Take off heat and add vanilla. Drizzle over popped corn slowly, turning with wooden spoon. Once the popped corn is coated, let the caramel mixture cool then add sea salt. A party in your mouth y’all!
I love to add a little nostalgia and serve bottled drinks with fun paper straws.
I hope this inspires you to have a fun family movie night filled with sweet memories.
